The Lifestyle Profile Questionnaire (PEPS-I) measures healthy lifestyles and has been replicated in Spanish and English, however it does not have an adaptation for Mexico. For this reason, in order to provide empirical evidence of the psychometric properties of a revised version of the Lifestyle Profile (PEPS-I-R) in a Mexican sample, an instrumental study was carried out. There was a sample of 276 par-ticipants between the ages of 18 and 59, living in the north, center, west, and south of Mexico, whose responses went through an exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, as well as bivariate correla-tions. The EFA exposed a structure of 5 factors and 30 items (KMO= .939, Barlett p=.000, Explained Variance= 57.24) which was called PEPS-I-R. The comparison of models with CFA showed that the PEPS-I-R obtained better goodness of fit (CMIN/DF=2.437, CFI=.902, RMSEA=.072, AIC=880.217), than the PEPS-I of 6 factors and 48 items. (CMIN/DF=2.792, CFI=.771, RMSEA=.081, AIC=3291.03), in addition to presenting reliability (α=.944) and criterion validity (p=.000). The PEPS-I-R is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring healthy lifestyles in the sample of Mexican population, presenting better goodness of fit than the original PEPS-I version
