El resurgimiento de la masonería en tiempos de crisis. Desde las Revoluciones liberales hasta el siglo XXI

Abstract

Este Trabajo Final de Grado (TFG) estudia el resurgimiento del discurso masónico y de los valores que caracterizan a su institución en la sociedad occidental actual. Esta investigación se centra en primer lugar en establecer unas bases epistemológicas sobre las que se fundamenta la masonería y analizar cómo estos valores han supuesto a lo largo de la historia confrontaciones ideológicas con corrientes opuestas. En segundo lugar, se establece un contexto histórico para ubicar en tiempo y forma la evolución de la masonería y a partir de ahí, se estudia la lingüística de la masonería a través de distintas fuentes primarias y secundarias que explican las formas del discurso y la narrativa con los que se presenta en nuestra sociedad. Por último, se establecen unas conclusiones que resuelven las cuestiones planteadas a lo largo del texto, intentando responder a la hipótesis y esclarecer el papel de la masonería en la actualidad desde una visión global.

This Final Degree Project (TFG) studies the resurgence of Masonic discourse and the values that characterize its institution in today's Western society. This research focuses firstly on establishing the epistemological foundations on which Freemasonry is based and analyzing how these values have led to ideological confrontations with opposing currents throughout history. Secondly, a historical context is established in order to locate in time and form the evolution of Freemasonry and, from there, the linguistics of Freemasonry is studied through different primary and secondary sources that explain the forms of discourse and narrative with which it is presented in our society. Finally, conclusions are drawn that resolve the questions raised throughout the text, attempting to answer the hypothesis and clarify the role of Freemasonry today from a global viewpoint.
