Memoria de la sociedad española de principios del siglo XXI a partir del análisis de las manifestaciones culturales audiovisuales populares: Los Serrano

Abstract

La producción audiovisual española Los Serrano ha dejado huella en la memoria colectiva e individual como un fenómeno social y cultural en la España de principios del siglo XXI. A través del análisis del discurso de la serie, se pretende demostrar cómo era la sociedad española de los años 2000, pero partiendo de la imposibilidad de aprehender la totalidad de los contenidos, hechos y manifestaciones de una estructura social en un contexto concreto. La comprobación de si existe, o no, correlación entre los comportamientos de los personajes de Los Serrano y los españoles y las españolas de principios de siglo, parte desde una perspectiva de la historia de las mentalidades con la Escuela de los Annales. Para ello también hemos realizado entrevistas a actores de la propia serie, como Fran Perea y Andrés de la Cruz. La retrospectiva de la visualización de una serie de tanto éxito se muestra a través de encuestas realizadas a dos rangos de edad, superior e inferior a 30 años. Con ello, se demuestra la diferencia entre las opiniones de una sociedad que creció con Los Serrano y aquellos que la han revisionado años más tarde. La influencia de una producción audiovisual como esta se muestra en cómo la propia sociedad, incluso los actores de la misma, consideran que no se podría rehacer en la actualidad, lo que sigue sujeto a debate y se tratará de resolver a través de este trabajo.

The Spanish audiovisual production Los Serrano has left its mark on collective and individual memory as a social and cultural phenomenon in Spain at the beginning of the 21st century. Through the analysis of the discourse of the series, the aim is to demonstrate what Spanish society was like in the 2000s, but starting from the impossibility of apprehending all the contents, facts and manifestations of a social structure in a specific context. The verification of whether or not there is a correlation between the behaviors of the characters in Los Serrano and the Spanish men and women at the beginning of the century starts from a perspective of the history of mentalities with the Annales School. To do this, we have also conducted interviews with actors from the series itself, such as Fran Perea and Andrés de la Cruz. The retrospective of the viewing of such a successful series is shown through surveys carried out at two age ranges, over and under 30 years old. This demonstrates the difference between the opinions of a society that grew up with Los Serrano and those who have reviewed it years later. The influence of an audiovisual production like this is shown in how society itself, even its actors, consider that it could not be remade today, which remains subject to debate and will be resolved through this work.
