In the current digital era, Vocational Training has the challenge of preparing students for a constantly evolving labor market, driven by technological advances. SDG 4 highlights the importance of inclusive and quality education, which aligns with the UDL. Generative AI offers unprecedented opportunities to personalize learning and generate educational content. However, it also poses challenges in its effective integration in Education and in the need to develop Digital Teaching Competence to take full advantage of its potential. This work is a research that aims to explore and analyze the capacity of Generative AI as a resource for Vocational Training teachers. Specifically, in the curricular development of the Didactic Programming of a professional module and DUA implementation. To do this, different tasks have been carried out through prompt engineering in different current chatbots, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, analyzing their responses based on their correctness, reliability and usefulness. The results show that Generative AI is not a specific tool. It is concluded that Generative AI can be a useful resource due to the “ideas” it provides in some tasks, but not reliable, to the extent that it requires the supervision of its responses by an expert. The initial and ongoing training of teachers in Artificial Intelligence is key to its proper use in Education, today and in the future.
