- Introduction: eccentric exercises and the Heavy Slow Resistance method have often been the treatment of choice for chronic tendinopathies. In addition to these treatments, health professionals can address them with pharmacological, physical or various exercise therapies, as will be discussed in more detail in the study, which also discusses shock waves, platelet-rich plasma, stem cells, corticosteroids, growth factors, dry needling, intratissue percutaneous electrolysis and high-volume injections. - Goals: To know which kind of treatment is more effective in the tendinopathy´s treatment at pain. - Material and methods: a search for randomized clinical trial was performed in Pubmed, Web of Sciences and Cochrane Library between 2019 and 2023, where different kind of treatments in tendinopathies are compared. - Results: there are 15 articles to discuss, which are divided into 7 on Achilles tendinopathies, 7 on patellar tendinopathies and 1 on gluteal tendinopathy, which are compared with each other. - Conclusions: we cannot conclude that therapeutic exercise is more effective than other therapies, since we do not isolate and compare one or the other treatments. But we can suggest that progressive and concentric exercises indicate better results than eccentric exercises.
