Introduction: Mobbing or workplace harassment is a common issue in the work environment that not only has a negative impact on the physical and psychological health of the affected individuals but also affects the quality of healthcare and the overall well-being of nursing professionals. However, this phenomenon has been understudied in the specific context of nurses in Spain. Therefore, this study aims to contribute new knowledge about the causes, consequences, and coping strategies related to mobbing in this group. Main Objective: To study the psychological and social repercussions experienced by nurses who suffer from mobbing in Spain. Methodology: The study employs a qualitative ethnographic design based on grounded theory. Participant selection will be conducted using convenience non-probability sampling until data saturation is reached (an estimated total of 15 to 20 participants per autonomous community). Data will be collected through in-person semi-structured individual interviews and analyzed following the four-step grounded theory approach proposed by Glaser and Strauss. Limitations: Among the main limitations to consider are researcher bias and the difficulty in establishing causality due to the qualitative nature of the study.
