Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder. This disorder is characterized by persistent deficiencies in communication and social interaction in a variety of contexts, also with restrictive and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests or activities. Due to the increase in cases of ASD in the child population in recent years, the difficulties found in behavioral, emotional and social adaptation of siblings of children with ASD and the lack of programs intended for them, the general objective of this intervention program is to improve the psycho-emotional adjustment of this children. Program participants are in the age range of 7-11 years and must be siblings of children with ASD who have grade 2 or 3. The number of participants in the program will be 10 and it will consist of 7 sessions, with one session per week. The objectives set will be measured both before and after the program implementation. In addition, participants will be followed up after 12 months to check that the effects after the program are maintained for a long time. For the correct development of all the sessions, it is proposed a participative methodology, making the users an active part of the program. In short, it is considered very necessary that they start to be part of the interventions to control emotions and problematic behaviors, support programs and active participation because their participation will get a better integration in the family and in society.
