Programa de prevención primaria del maltrato infantil para aplicar en el ámbito escolar en colegios de la provincia de Zaragoza

Abstract

El maltrato infantil sería aquel que abarca todas las formas de malos tratos físicos y emocionales, abuso sexual, descuido o negligencia, explotación comercial o de otro tipo, que originen un daño real o potencial para la salud del niño, su supervivencia, desarrollo o dignidad en el contexto de una relación de responsabilidad, confianza o poder. En la actualidad supone una problemática no solo por el número de casos existentes, sino también por las consecuencias que acarrea. Existen varios tipos de maltrato infantil: maltrato físico, maltrato psicológico, abuso sexual, negligencia, síndrome de Munchausen por poderes, síndrome del niño sacudido, maltrato institucional y maltrato prenatal. El presente TFM tiene como objetivo general diseñar una propuesta de prevención primaria del maltrato infantil para su posterior aplicación en el contexto escolar. Los objetivos específicos son profundizar en los factores de riesgo del maltrato infantil, conocer los factores de protección del maltrato infantil, conocer los programas de prevención de maltrato infantil existentes, y diseñar actividades que ayuden a la comunicación y detección de este tipo de maltrato. La propuesta de prevención ofrecida dentro de este TFM se compone de doce sesiones, con una duración de hora y media las grupales y de media hora las reducidas. El objetivo principal de dicha propuesta es que los destinatarios del programa puedan identificar casos de posible riesgo de maltrato infantil, ofreciéndoles información sobre qué es el maltrato infantil y los diferentes tipos existentes dentro de él. Encontramos otros objetivos específicos dentro de la propuesta, como serían, identificar y distinguir los signos y síntomas de un niño maltratado, ayudar a la comunicación entre padres/tutores y niños, ayudar a los niños a mostrar sus emociones más abiertamente a sus cuidadores, y ayudar a los niños a que conozcan la importancia de pedir ayuda. Las palabras clave que se han utilizado para la búsqueda bibliográfica han sido maltrato infantil, violence in children, síndrome del maltrato infantil y negligencia.

Child abuse would be one that encompasses all forms of physical and emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect or neglect, comercial or other exploitation, that cause real or potential harm to the child´s health, survival, development or dignity, in the context of respondability, trust or power. The present TFM´s general objective is to design a proposal for the primary prevention of child abuse for its subsequent application in the school context. The specific objectives are to delve into the risk factors for child abuse, learn about the protective factors for child abuse, learn abour existing child abuse prevention programs, and design activities that help to communicate and detect this type of abuse. The prevention proposal offered with in this TFM consist if twelve sessions, with a duración of an hour and a half those that are group and with a duration of half an hour those that are reduced. The main objective of this proposal is that the recipients of the program can identify cases osposible risk of child abuse, offering them information about what child abuse is and the diferente types that exist within it. We found other specific objectives within the proposal, such as identifying and distinguishing the signs and symptoms of an abused child, helping communcation between parents/guardain and children, helping children to show their emotions more openly to their cargivers, and help children learn the importance of asking for help.
