Abstract

A través de este proyecto, llamado La vida de Cristian Poveda: La Pasión por el reportaje, se quiere dar a conocer a Christian Poveda, desde su figura hasta sus motivaciones, pasando por su primer viaje a El Salvador, país que le enamoró y posteriormente le quitó la vida. El presente documental está compuesto por dos partes. La primera engloba la profesión de los reporteros de guerra, así como la peligrosidad que va aparejada a su trabajo. Para ello, se presenta a diferentes reporteros/as haciendo una visión pormenorizada de los trabajos que han realizado a lo largo de sus carreras. La segunda parte del documental se centra en la figura de Christian Poveda, compuesta por diferentes referencias audiovisuales y entrevistas realizadas a sus familiares y amigos, para entender qué motivó a Christian a tomar esa trayectoria profesional y su forma de entender la vida mediante su trabajo. Este documental no es apto para todo el público, debido a que se muestran imágenes de una gran dureza, reflejo de una realidad inimaginable que, de no ser por profesionales como Christian, nunca conoceríamos. La finalidad de este proyecto es rendir un sentido homenaje a Christian, mostrando su visión sobre el periodismo, cómo veía el mundo y qué fue lo que le marcó en su carrera profesional

Through this project, called The Life of Cristian Poveda: A Passion for Reporting, I want to make Christian Poveda known, from his figure to his motivations, including his first trip to El Salvador, the country where he fell in love and later took his life. This documentary is made up of two parts. The first part covers the profession of war reporters, as well as the dangers associated with their work, and therefore presents different reporters giving a detailed overview of the work they have done throughout their careers. The second part of the documentary focuses on the figure of Christian Poveda. It consists of different audiovisual references and interviews with his family and friends, to understand what motivated Christian to take this professional path and his way of understanding life through his work. This documentary is not suitable for all audiences, because it shows images of great harshness, a reflection of an unimaginable reality that, if it were not for professionals like Christian, we would never know. The purpose of this project is to pay tribute to Christian, showing his vision of journalism, how he saw the world and what marked him in his professional career
