Vogue, fotografía de moda y portadas: evolución y análisis

Abstract

Este proyecto de investigación indaga sobre la evolución de las portadas de la revista Vogue a lo largo del tiempo. La fotografía de moda y su relación con la estética, la revista Vogue, cuatro de sus más reconocidos fotógrafos y algunas de sus portadas, nos ayudan a comprender cómo el paso del tiempo y la moda se adapta a cada modo de expresión personal y temporal. Podemos situarnos también en el mundo visual y estético que nos rodea, el estilo de fotografía que se emplea, los colores y las composiciones nos remiten a un pasado, un presente y un futuro en constante revisión. El fin de nuestro estudio es poder ilustrar cuál ha sido la evolución de la revista, así como de la fotografía de moda. También poder concluir cuáles son los aspectos de los fotógrafos seleccionados que han supuesto un antes y un después en este tipo de disciplina fotográfica, y por ello poder concluir si dichos aspectos, a día de hoy, siguen vigentes

This research project investigates the evolution of the covers of Vogue magazine over time. Fashion photography and its relationship to aesthetics, Vogue magazine, four of its most renowned photographers and some of its covers, help us understand how the passage of time and fashion adapts to each mode of personal and temporal expression. We can also situate ourselves in the visual and aesthetic world that surrounds us, the style of photography that is used, the colors and compositions refer us to a past, present and future in constant revision. The aim of our study is to illustrate what has been the evolution of the magazine, as well as fashion photography. Also to be able to conclude which are the aspects of the selected photographers that have meant a before and after in this type of photographic discipline, and therefore to be able to conclude if these aspects, to this day, are still valid
