Representación de la historia de Cuba desde la perspectiva del videoclip cubano actual (2010-2019)

Abstract

El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis de cómo la sociedad cubana concibe la historia de su país, y específicamente cómo la representa en los videoclips actuales (2010 - 2019). Los objetivos del mismo son conocer la historia de Cuba a través del videoclip, y evaluar si las representaciones son acordes a la historia de Cuba o se han idealizado a causa del régimen parlamentario de la isla. Para realizar este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se ha hecho una recopilación de investigaciones sobre la temática del audiovisual y de la historia cubana, así como de otro tipo de representaciones de la historia (como puede ser el cine, la música o la literatura). Además se han analizado los seis videoclips escogidos como muestra, tomando como referencia para este análisis dos metodologías enfocadas en analizar la narración en cada uno de ellos. Se extraen de este análisis unos resultados esclarecedores, que en conjunto con un estudio de la sociedad actual cubana y de su relación con la historia, nos ayuda a afirmar que la representación en el videoclip cubano se encuentra idealizada, debido a una serie de motivos tanto dentro como fuera de la isla

This work focuses on the analysis of how Cuban society conceives the history of its country, and specifically how represents it in current video clips (2010 - 2019). The objectives of the same are to know the history of Cuba through the video clip, and to evaluate if the representations are in accordance with the history of Cuba or have been idealized because of the parliamentary regime of the island. To carry out this Final Degree Project, a compilation of research has been made on the subject of audiovisuals and Cuban history, as well as other types of representations of history (such as cinema, music or literature). In addition, the six selected video clips have been analyzed, taking as reference for this analysis two methodologies focused on analyzing the narration in each of them. Clarifying results are extracted from this analysis, which together with a study of current Cuban society and its relationship with history, helps us to affirm that the representation in the Cuban video clip is idealized, due to a series of reasons both inside and outside the island
