Cobertura y tratamiento informativo del Pacto del Botánico

Abstract

El Pacto del Botánico fue la primera actuación del tripartito en su llegada al Gobierno de la Comunidad Valenciana. Una serie de medidas firmadas para cumplir durante la IX legislatura sobre rescate de personas, regeneración democrática y lucha contra la corrupción, gobernar para las personas, nuevo modelo productivo y financiación justa y auditoría ciudadana, y todo esto con un tratamiento informativo acorde a la realidad. En este trabajo se analiza la cobertura informativa que se le ha dado a esas metas que han sido formalizadas en los diarios Valencia Plaza y Levante-EMV desde la firma del Pacto en junio de 2015 hasta el final de la legislatura en abril de 2019. Mediante el empleo de una metodología cuantitativa se ha podido averiguar que ha habido 365 publicaciones sobre el tema en los dos medios durante los cuatro años y que en su mayoría han estipulado un formato muy textual e informativo. Además, se ha empleado también una metodología cualitativa, donde se han realizado dos entrevistas a dos fuentes especializadas en los objetivos de la investigación, el Pacto y su tratamiento en los medios. Los resultados obtenidos han cumplido con las hipótesis y los objetivos. Se ha confirmado que el tratamiento de los medios en cuanto al tema analizado ha abundado tan solo en las noticias más polémicas como la reapertura de la nueva televisión autonómica. Sobre violencia machista o inmigración ha habido 19 noticias en cuatro años. Además, su máximo esplendor se obtuvo tras su firma, después del primer mes la afluencia de noticias descendió hasta ser casi nulas al final de la legislatura. Han sido noticias relacionadas con los objetivos de las metas pero muy pocas sobre normas cumplidas. Al mismo tiempo, se percibe una falta de personal en los periódicos ya que en su mayoría, la información provenía de agencias de comunicación.

The Pact of the Botanic was the first action of the tripartite in the Government of the Valencian Community. A series of measures signed to fulfill during the IX legislature about rescue of people, democratic regeneration and corruption, govern for people, new productive model of financing and citizen voice, and all this with an information treatment according to reality. This paper analyzes the information coverage that it has been given to goals that they have been formalized in the Valencia Plaza and Levante-EMV dailies since the signing of the Pact in June 2015 until the end of the legislature in April 2019. The use of a quantitative methodology has found that it has been 365 publications in both media during the four years and they have been very textual and informative format. In addition, a qualitative methodology has also been used, where two interviews have been conducted with two specialized people in the objectives of the research, the Pact and its treatment on the media. The results obtained have fulfilled the hypotheses and the objectives. It has been confirmed that the treatment of the media in terms of the subject analyzed only the most controversial news such as the reopening of the new regional television. About sexist violence or immigration there have been 19 news in four years. Besides, its maximum splendour was obtained after its signature and zero news at the end of the term. They have been news related to the objectives of the goals but very few on passed measures. At the same time, a lack of worker in the newspapers is perceived; the information came from communication agencies.
