Abstract

Las familias de niños con patologías raras deben enfrentarse a barreras sociales, económicas, educativas y sanitarias. El objetivo de este reportaje es reflejar la realidad que sufren día a día y dar así voz a las demandas de este grupo minoritario. El tema de este trabajo de fin de grado son las enfermedades raras y está enfocado de manera local a las barreras encontradas en la localidad de Elche. A partir del testimonio de una persona afectada por el síndrome asociado al SATB2, se dará a conocer cada uno de los objetivos a desarrollar. Para la realización del reportaje se han llevado a cabo entrevistas con las principales asociaciones de la ciudad y otros profesionales sanitarios.

Families of children with rare diseases must face social, economic, educational and health barriers. The objective of this report is to reflect the reality that they suffer from day to day and thus give voice to the demands of this minority group. The subject of this end-of-degree project is rare diseases and is locally focused on the barriers found in the town of Elche. From the testimony of a person affected by the syndrome associated with SATB2, each of the objectives to be developed will be announced. For the realization of the report interviews with the main associations of the city and other health professionals have been carried out.
