Female adolescents who present comorbid Anorexia Nervosa (AN) and traits of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) represent a clinical challenge due to a pattern of overcontrol, characterized by cognitive rigidity, emotional inhibition, and difficulties in social connection. The aim of this undergraduate dissertation is to design an intervention proposal titled “Conectar Siendo Yo” (Connecting Being Me), which is based on the principles of Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). The program is brief in nature, with a proposed sample of 12 female adolescents diagnosed with AN and comorbid ASD traits who are receiving treatment in a day hospital setting. The program consists of eight approximately 60-minute sessions, structured using an adapted methodology that minimizes abstract emotional language. This intervention aims to enhance mental flexibility, reduce maladaptive perfectionism, and decrease the tendency toward social isolation by fostering a sense of belonging to a “tribe”. In conclusion, the program is presented as a transdiagnostic approach focused on providing patients with regulatory skills that promote comprehensive recovery, rather than being limited exclusively to weight restoration.es_ES
