Therefore, the observation of complex biological processes relies heavily on the rational design and synthesis of stable fluorescent molecules that emit in the visible and near-infrared spectrum . The combination of organic fluorophores with water-soluble, biodegradable polymers or polymeric nanoassemblies has opened up new possibilities for their biomedical applications in areas such as bioprobes, bioimaging, and theranostics. | es_ES |
