Veus de Pedra (La memòria rural feta so). El desenvolupament d’un reportatge sonor com a episodi pilot d’un pòdcast de temàtica rural

Abstract

Este Treball de Fi de Grau, Veus de Pedra (La memòria rural feta so), es centra en el disseny i desenvolupament d’un reportatge sonor en format pòdcast. Este pòdcast es tracta d’un projecte pilot que té com a objectiu documentar la història i posar en valor el patrimoni cultural i social de les masies i petites poblacions abandonades situades a la perifèria del terme municipal de Castalla. A través del llenguatge radiofònic i el testimoni oral, el producte pretén recuperar la memòria d’estos espais i construir una guia rural alternativa des de la narració periodística i creativa. El projecte pilot desenvolupa de manera específica el cas del caseriu d’Almarra, una antiga pedania castelluda actualment deshabitada. El reportatge compta amb testimonis directes i entrevistes als descendents d’antics habitants, així com amb fonts documentals, arqueològiques i històriques que permeten reconstruir la vida quotidiana del lloc, les raons del seu abandonament i el seu valor patrimonial. Tot i que este primer episodi es centra en la pedanía d’Almarra, el projecte general planteja futures ampliacions amb nous episodis dedicats a altres espais similars del terme, com el Pi del Litero, el Forcall, Sarganella o Planisses, amb la voluntat de crear un arxiu sonor que done veu i valor a la perifèria rural de Castalla i els seus representants. Així, amb un enfocament proper i narratiu, el treball busca acostar la història i la cultura castelluda tant a la població local com a qualsevol persona interessada en el patrimoni i la memòria rural.

This Final Degree Project, Veus de Pedra (Rural Memory Made Sound), focuses on the design and development of a sound report in podcast format. This podcast is a pilot project that aims to document the history and highlight the cultural and social heritage of farmhouses and small abandoned villages located on the outskirts of the municipality of Castalla. Through radio language and oral testimony, the product seeks to recover the memory of these spaces and build an alternative rural guide through journalistic and creative storytelling. The pilot project specifically develops the case of the hamlet of Almarra, a former Castalla settlement that is now uninhabited. The report includes direct testimonies and interviews with descendants of former residents, as well as documentary, archaeological and historical sources that make it possible to reconstruct everyday life in the area, the reasons for its abandonment, and its heritage value. Although this first episode focuses on the hamlet of Almarra, the general project foresees future expansions with new episodes dedicated to other similar locations in the area, such as Pi del Litero, Forcall, Sarganella or Planisses, with the intention of creating a sound archive that gives voice and value to Castalla’s rural periphery and its representatives. With a close and narrative approach, the work seeks to bring the history and culture of Castalla closer to both the local population and anyone interested in heritage and rural memory.
