Control y manejo de Ceroplastes floridensis en el cultivo de mandarina

Abstract

La caparreta blanca de Florida Ceroplastes floridensis se ha convertido en una plaga relativamente reciente en los mandarinos del sureste español. El objetivo del presente trabajo es conocer el efecto de la aplicación de spirotetramat a finales de primavera, y del aceite parafínico a finales de verano sobre los distintos estadios de desarrollo de C. floridensis. Se observa que ambas materias activas causan una elevada mortalidad, sobre todo estadios larvarios más jóvenes
