La inteligencia emocional en la entrevista periodística

Abstract

Este trabajo es el resultado de un estudio sobre cómo afecta la inteligencia emocional (IE) en el ámbito periodístico, más concretamente en el género de la entrevista. En primer lugar, se presentan los conceptos más importantes de la investigación que posteriormente se desarrollarán y algunas de las citas bibliográficas más importantes. A continuación, se explicará cómo ser emocionalmente inteligente en el trabajo, ya que es muy importante para el desarrollo de nuestras capacidades emocionales y profesionales. Al igual que se hablará de las competencias intrapersonales e interpersonales, centrándonos en estas últimas, puesto que están íntimamente relacionadas con las competencias presentes en una entrevista periodística. También tiene lugar, el estudio de la adquisición de la inteligencia emocional según el autor Daniel Goleman y la relación que se establece entre la entrevista periodística y la IE. En la parte principal del estudio, se encuentra una investigación personal que he llevado a cabo con una serie de periodistas y sujetos, que han participado en esta publicación. El objetivo principal es conocer si hay relación directa con el grado de IE del periodista y la información que obtiene del entrevistado. En los resultados del análisis descubriremos que a través de unos cuestionarios y comparación de resultados, se ha podido demostrar que la afirmación es verdadera. En las conclusiones finales puede verse como los objetivos principales de este estudio se cumplen, con el fin de desarrollar la inteligencia emocional y habilidades sociales en la entrevista periodística, al igual que darle la importancia que se merece durante su aprendizaje.

This document is the result of a study of how emotional intelligence affects in the journalist field, more specifically in the interview genre. First, the most important concepts of the study are presented and developed together with the most important bibliographical quotes. Then, the fact of being emotionally intelligent at work will be explained, due to the importance of this for the development of our emotional and professional abilities. In addition to this, intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies will be mentioned, being the last ones more important because of being closely related with the present competencies in a journalist interview. Furthermore, we take into account the study of the emotional intelligence acquisition according to the author Daniel Goleman and the stablished relation between the journalist interview and the EI. On the principal part of the study, there is a personal investigation that I have performed with some journalists that have participated on this publication. The principal aim is to know if there is a direct relation between the EI grade of the journalist and the information he obtains of the interviewee. The results of the analysis show that throughout surveys and comparisons between results, it has been proved that the affirmation is true. On the final conclusions it can be seen how the aim objectives of this study are achieved, with the goal of the emotional intelligence and social abilities development in the journalist interview, the same that taking into account their importance during its learning.
