La memoria histórica durante la guerra civil en Hondón de las Nieves

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es la recuperación de la memoria histórica durante la Guerra Civil española en Hondón de las Nieves. La memoria histórica comienza a ser explorada en este municipio por David Flores Juan, director del archivo histórico municipal, en el año 2000. En las siguientes páginas se relata la historia de toda una generación hondonense. Para ello, se ha entrevistado a diez mujeres y diez hombres de entre 70 y 105 años. Se ha analizado diferentes aspectos de su vida como su infancia, su adolescencia, su profesión o su actividad política. También se ha profundizado sobre su opinión con respecto a la Guerra Civil, la posguerra y la Dictadura. Durante este largo proceso, ha habido un crecimiento tanto en el trabajo como en mi persona. Debo destacar que mi visión inicial sobre el conflicto es distinta, puesto que ha habido en mí un discernimiento en cuanto al tema. Es decir, he llegado a comprender todas y cada una de las conclusiones desarrolladas en el ensayo. Existe una fragmentación, una división, entre un bando y otro por el desconocimiento. La democracia para mí es pluralidad, y tanto izquierda como derecha quieren tener la verdad absoluta. Y eso, es imposible. Entre lo más destacado, se encuentra el miedo que aún persiste en cada entrevistado al hablar sobre aquella época. Ese miedo latente provoca una laguna en nuestra sociedad y nos muestra a lo largo del trabajo que quien ha vivido ese período no quiere hablar, y el que no lo ha vivido, se atreve a hablar de él sin ningún fundamento. Esa laguna de desconocimiento es la barrera que impide que la sociedad se acerque al período de la Guerra Civil y su repercusión. Creo que al finalizar este trabajo puedo decir metafóricamente que he subido en una barca para cruzar esa laguna y alcanzar la orilla opuesta. Allí he podido comprender las consecuencias que ha llevado a la actual sociedad a generar un odio entre dos Españas irreconciliables, que en la actualidad sigue vigente.

The aim of this work is the recovery of historical memory during the spanish Civil War in Hondón de las Nieves. Historical memory begins to be explored in this municipality by David Flores Juan, director of the municipal historical archive, in 2000. On the following pages the story of an entire hondonense generation is told. To this end, it has interviewed ten women and ten men between 70 and 105 years. It has analyzed different aspects of his life as his childhood, adolescence, their profession or their political activity. Also it has deepened about his opinion regarding the Civil War, the war and the Dictatorship. There has been a growth both at work and in my person during this long process. I must emphasize taht my initial vision of the conflict is different, since it has been in me an insight on the issue. That is, I have come to undestand each and every one of the conclusiones reached in the trial. There is a fragmentation, a divison between one side and another by ignorance. Democracy for mes is plurality, and both left and right want to hace the absolute truth. And that, is impossible. Among the highlights the fear that stills persists in each interviewee to talk about that time is. Latent fear that causes a gap in our society and shows throughout the work who has lived this period will not talk and whoever has not lived, dare to speak of him without any foundation. This gap of ignorance is the barrier that prevents society approaching th period of the Civil War and its impact. I think at the end of this work I can say metaphorically that I climbed into a boat to cross the gap and reach the opposite bank. There I could understand the consequences that has led to today’s society to generate hatred between two irreconcilable spains, which currently remains in forcé.
