Víctimas de la invisibilidad: los impactos de la violencia urbana en la vida de mujeres y hombres

Abstract

Hace casi veinte años, en el 2005, llevé a cabo, con un equipo multidisciplinar, investigaciones sobre y en contextos de violencia urbana, sus actores/as, estrategias, impactos, respuestas, con el objetivo de nombrar espacios y acciones que quedan sin nombre, despolitizadas y, por lo tanto, invisibles. A eses espacios llamé de novísimas guerras (2005, 2007, 2010), y una de las líneas de investigación fue justamente entender dónde estaban/están las mujeres en esos contextos, utilizando la pregunta de Cynthia Enloe del 2004, en el “The Curious Feminist”. Al mismo tiempo, donde están los hombres en esos contextos. De autores a víctimas directas, de invisibilidades a palabras de resistencia, este es el tema de este artículo.

Almost twenty years ago, in 2005, I carried out, with a multidisciplinary team, research on and in contexts of urban violence, its actors, strategies, impacts, responses, with the aim of naming spaces and actions that remain nameless. , depoliticized and, therefore, invisible. I called these spaces the latest wars (2005, 2007, 2010), and one of the lines of research was precisely to understand where women were/are in those contexts, using Cynthia Enloe's question from 2004, in "The Curious Feminist ”. At the same time, where are the men in those contexts. From perpetrators to direct victims, from invisibilities to words of resistance, this is the theme of this article.
