As a result of the changes in the consumption of musical content and the rise of streaming platforms and podcasts in Spain, the idea for this final degree project arose. This project, called La fórmula dorada de la FM (Echevarrieta, 2025), involves the production of a podcast in which research is carried out into the evolution of the music radio formula in our country and its adaptation to a digital environment, which is dominated by immediacy, algorithms and personalisation.
Throughout the four episodes of this podcast, we have analysed the evolution of this format, the changes in its content and structure, as well as the impact of digital platforms on the audience. For this, expert sources have been used, including broadcasters from stations such as Los 40, Cadena 100 and Cadena Dial, as well as professionals from Warner Music and Podimo Podcast. It has also benefited from the perspective of music historians, journalists and listeners.
In the same way, the elaboration of this final degree project has required a very detailed work, due to the drafting of the interview questionnaires and their corresponding transcription, the creation of scripts and the selection of sound effects and different songs.
Likewise, on the occasion of the future publication of this work in the cultural media Pop Central, a coherent visual identity has been developed, based on its graphic line. For its proper dissemination, the different episodes are available on a web landing page created with Wix.
As a result of the elaboration of all these previously mentioned elements, La fórmula dorada de la FM is presented as an innovative podcast, which combines a professional approach with a close and dynamic narrative.
