This research work is framed within cultural studies around issues of gender and identity, from a critical and queer perspective. This proposal emphasizes the study of the historical and social context in which Butch and Trans Masculine identities develop in Spain, focusing on the shared challenges and struggles that both communities face in terms of recognition, acceptance, community, and survival. It is relevant to study these alliances and highlight the need for solidarity within the LGTBI+ community and the transmaribibollo movement, as these alliances contribute to greater freedom of expression and mutual support. The central problem posed by this proposal is to analyze the affective alliances between these communities, considering the possible misunderstandings and conflicts that arise on the path to connection between both social groups. The problem of the lack of collaboration and exchange between butch lesbians and the transmasculine collective will be described and analyzed. We will identify the potential conflicts and divisions that generate these barriers and obstacles, hindering the formation of solid alliances between these two communities. My hypothesis is that these tensions and alliances may be due to stereotypes, internal prejudices, differences in experiences, and lack of understanding and communication between both parties. The research questions are as follows: 1. What are the differences and similarities in both experiences of discrimination and marginalization? And in terms of experiences of pleasure, community, and agency? 2. What role does visibility, education, and awareness play in promoting effective alliances between both communities? 3. How can possible misunderstandings and conflicts between the butch lesbian and transmasculine communities in Spain be overcome to foster greater solidarity and collaboration within the LGTBI+ movement and transfeminist activism? 4. Is age important in the activation process of these alliances? 5. Would all current TERF narratives be an impediment to the alliance between these communities? 6. How has the presence of trans men within the feminist lesbian movement in Spain impacted terms of inclusion, understanding, and respect for the diversity of gender identities within feminist and LGTBI+ activism?
