The present study focuses on the analysis of comic book language as a dynamic and multifaceted communication tool, employing a qualitative approach to examine various internationally significant comic works selected for their impactful contribution to the medium and the development of comic book language. This analysis centers on the central idea proposed by each work and how this idea enriches the comic book language, not only as a form of graphic narrative but also as a transmedia medium capable of transcending different platforms and formats, thus establishing itself as an artistic and communication medium in its own right. Comics, beyond their basic conception as sequential language—a succession of images and text—are a medium that has evolved from its origins as comic strips in newspapers to become a recognized and studied art form. This study aims to reveal how comics are an excellent communicative tool and how the message is reinvented through a medium as adaptable as comics. The works analyzed in this study have been carefully selected from a unique perspective for their contribution to the evolution and development of comics in traditional media and various forms such as cinema or video games. Each represents the constant change of the medium and its influence on popular culture.
