People with functional diversity face numerous difficulties on a daily basis to cope with their daily life, one of these difficulties, and the one we are going to review in this work, is the difficulty they encounter when it comes to their incorporation into the labour market.
Among the difficulties they encounter in accessing the labour market is the lack of accessibility to jobs, as the vast majority of companies in our country are not physically or technologically adapted to facilitate the work of people with functional diversity.
But without a doubt, the greatest barrier they encounter in accessing the labour market are the prejudices and stereotypes that we have in society, as there are ideas created about the capabilities of people with functional diversity, which in many situations causes discrimination and lack of opportunities.
In order to avoid these prejudices and stereotypes, it is necessary that the companies have training and knowledge to achieve a good working environment, and it is important to clarify that this is not only important for the labour insertion of people with functional diversity, any company benefits from a good working environment.
By means of the present work we are going to observe the differences in the work climate between the companies that hire workers with functional diversity, and the companies that do not hire people with functional diversity, so that by means of later and more extensive research, we will be able to make proposals and improvements to ensure that all companies have a good organizational climate.
In order to observe these differences, a questionnaire comprising 40 items was used, divided into 3 sections, grouped in turn into 4 dimensions, which was distributed among family members, friends, acquaintances and companies in Elche and the Torrellano Business Park.
