Shedding light on the female references in our history continues to be an educational urgency. Among them, a group of women emerges who marked a before and after in the literature of our country: The Sinsombrero. Great figures who for a long time remained hidden behind the shadow of their namesakes, male names such as Federico García Lorca, Pedro Salinas, Rafael Alberti or Luis Cernuda. Among them, the incredible María Teresa León. Transgressive, fighter and brave, with infinite literary talent and the clear intention that the role of mother and wife that was expected of any woman at that time, would not distance her from her vital engine: literature. In this work we will carry out a bibliographic review of her life, focusing on the importance that the author gives to memory in each of its stages, to convert all this information into a didactic proposal for students in the 4th year of Secondary Education.
