Implantación de los huertos escolares en el sistema educativo español

Abstract

Incorporar un huerto escolar a un centro educativo conlleva el conocimiento previo del alcance del proyecto y el impacto que supondrá en toda la comunidad educativa. En este estudio se analizará la documentación disponible acerca de la implantación de los huertos escolares en el sistema educativo español desde la aparición de las primeras iniciativas hasta nuestros días. Se estudiará su inclusión en todos los niveles educativos, prestando especial atención a su desarrollo, funcionamiento y técnicas asociadas. Se analizará el posible impacto y los cambios significativos que los huertos escolares producen en el alumnado. Se detallarán los programas y redes de huertos escolares que las distintas administraciones públicas ponen al servicio de los centros educativos. Se detectarán las limitaciones y dificultades que los centros educativos encuentran a la hora de implantar un huerto escolar y se facilitarán herramientas para facilitar su implementación y asegurar su éxito a medio y largo plazo. Finalmente se propondrán recomendaciones para futuros estudios relacionados con el presente trabajo de investigación.

Incorporating a school garden into an educational center entails prior knowledge of the scope of the project and the impact it will have on the entire educational community. This study will analyse the available documentation on the implementation of scholar orchard in the Spanish educational system from the appearance of the first initiatives to the present day. It will study their inclusion at all educational levels, paying special attention to their development, operation and associated techniques. The possible impact and significant changes that school gardens produce in pupils will be analysed. It will detail the programmes and networks of school gardens that the different public administrations put at the service of educational centres. The limitations and difficulties that schools encounter when implementing a school garden will be detected and tools will be provided to facilitate its implementation and ensure its success in the medium and long term. Finally, recommendations for future studies related to this research work will be proposed.
