Futuros docentes y los ODS: ¿qué saben y cómo podemos mejorar su conocimiento?

Abstract

Las Universidades, como centros de conocimiento juegan un papel fundamental en la transmisión del conocimiento. El presente trabajo de fin de Máster aborda el tema del conocimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), especialmente el ODS6 “agua limpia y saneamiento”, entre los estudiantes del Máster de profesorado de la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. El estudio tiene como objetivo analizar y mejorar el conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre los ODS. En primer lugar, se ha realizado una encuesta a los alumnos del máster sobre los ODS. Posteriormente, se han analizado estas respuestas para averiguar el grado de conocimiento de los alumnos sobre los ODS. Una vez analizados los resultados de la encuesta se ha diseñado una práctica educativa para los alumnos del máster y otra para alumnos de educación secundaria para sensibilizar a los alumnos sobre este tema. Los resultados de la encuesta han mostrado un buen conocimiento de la temática de los ODS entre los alumnos del máster, pero también han revelado algunas carencias. Los futuros docentes requieren de una formación en los ODS para poder transmitir estos conocimientos a sus futuros alumnos

Universities, as centres of knowledge, play a fundamental role in the transmission of knowledge. This Master's thesis addresses the issue of knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG6 ‘clean water and sanitation’, among students of the Master's degree in teaching at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche. The study aims to analyse and improve students' knowledge of the SDGs. Firstly, a survey was carried out among the students of the master's degree on the SDGs. Subsequently, these responses were analysed to find out the students' level of knowledge about the SDGs. Once the results of the survey had been analysed, an educational practice was designed for Master's students and another for secondary school students to raise awareness of this issue. The results of the survey showed a good knowledge of the SDGs among the Master's students, but also revealed some shortcomings. Future teachers need to be trained in the SDGs in order to be able to transmit this knowledge to their future students
