El efecto de la inmigración sobre la financiación del sistema de pensiones español

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza el impacto de la política migratoria en el sistema de pensiones español y su sostenibilidad a largo plazo. Se parte de la hipótesis de que la inmigración puede tener un efecto positivo en la sostenibilidad del sistema de pensiones, al contribuir al aumento de la población activa y a la reducción de la carga financiera sobre los cotizantes actuales. Para analizar esta hipótesis, se realiza un estudio exhaustivo de la situación actual de la inmigración en el país, la integración de los inmigrantes en el mercado laboral, la economía sumergida y la viabilidad de la inmigración como medida para asegurar el sistema de pensiones.

This paper analyzes the impact of migration policy on the Spanish pension system and its long-term sustainability. It starts from the hypothesis that immigration can have a positive effect on the sustainability of the pension system by contributing to the increase of the active population and the reduction of the financial burden on current contributors. To analyze this hypothesis, an exhaustive study is conducted on the current situation of immigration in the country, the integration of immigrants into the labor market, the informal economy, and the viability of immigration as a measure to ensure the pension system.
