Antonio, El Sastre

Abstract

Antonio, El Sastre es un proyecto fotográfico cercano al editorial de moda con el que se quiere dar valor a los trajes y chalecos confeccionados por el sastre ilicitano Antonio Antón. Este sastre es un artesano que ha vivido toda su vida confeccionado trajes para hombres y que tras su jubilación, ha realizado una colección privada hasta entonces nunca vista. Las imágenes se toman en distintos ambientes de un caserío y en todas ellas, el protagonista es Antonio Antón, y las prendas que confecciona. Con cada fotografía se consigue también marcar una relación entre el color de los trajes, el contexto arquitectónico y estilístico del ambiente y sobre todo, la relación de Antonio con su obra.

Antonio, El Sastre is a photographic project close to the fashion editorial with which we want to give value to the suits and vests made by the Elche tailor Antonio Antón. This tailor is an artisan who has lived his entire life making suits for men and who, after his retirement, he has made a private collection never seen before. The photographs are taken in different environments of a farmhouse and in all of them, the protagonist is Antonio Antón and the clothes he makes. With each photograph it is also possible to establish a relationship between the color of the costumes, the architectural and stylistic context of the environment and, above all, Antonio’s relationship with his work.
