Análisis bioético de la objeción de conciencia en el ámbito sanitario

Abstract

A lo largo de este trabajo fin de grado se va a realizar un análisis sobre la objeción de conciencia en el ámbito sanitario planteando aspectos legales y éticos. Desde un primer plano se realiza un acercamiento al desarrollo de la historia de la objeción de conciencia y posteriormente se centra en el ámbito sanitario, más concretamente en los sectores del aborto, la eutanasia y las transfusiones de sangre desde la regulación legislativa aplicable en cada ámbito. Además, en la estructura del trabajo se diferencia su afectación en el ámbito nacional y europeo. El trabajo finaliza a través de la exposición del posicionamiento de diferentes entidades religiosas para lograr un entendimiento en sus argumentos a la hora de presentar una objeción de conciencia. La finalidad es indagar y analizar un tema complejo y conflictivo que adquiere una dificultad mayor cuando se presenta ante circunstancias sanitarias, y así conseguir visibilidad del marco legislativo, los fundamentos argumentativos y su impacto en la sanidad.

Throughout this thesis, an analysis of conscientious objection in the healthcare field will be carried out, it has been considered legal and ethical aspects. Firstly, an approach is made to the development of the history of conscientious objection, and then it is focused on the healthcare field, more specifically on the sectors of abortion, euthanasia and blood transfusions from the legislative regulation applicable in each area. In addition, the structure of this work differentiates between its impact at the national and European scope. The paper concludes with the exposition of different religious entities position in order to achieve an understanding of their arguments when presenting a conscientious objection. The aim is to investigate and analyze a complex and conflictive issue that acquires a greater difficulty when it is presented in health circumstances, and thus achieve visibility of the legislative framework, the argumentative foundations and its impact on health.
