Introduction: Lung cancer is one of the most diagnosed cancers today. These patients report some problems such as dyspnea, chest pain, fatigue, depression and functional limitation in exercise. All this, added to the news of the medical diagnosis, has a negative impact on their quality of life. Therapeutic exercise is proposed as an alternative in its recovery from conventional treatments. -Objectives: Perform a bibliographic search to know the effectiveness of therapeutic exercise in patients with lung cancer and the impact on their quality of life. -Material and methods: It was carried out in May 2023 in the Pubmed, Scopus and PEDro databases. We limit the articles exclusively to humans, published in the last ten years and who were over 18 years old. -Results: A total of 8 articles were selected. The main results observed after the exercise intervention were: decrease in dyspnea and fatigue, improvement in the 6-minute walk test, increase in VO2 peak and muscle strength. There were also improvements in terms of anxiety and depression. -Conclusions: The WHO recommends doing 150 minutes of aerobic exercise every day. There is evidence that practicing therapeutic exercise improves both physical and psychological aspects in patients with LC, thus also affecting the quality of life. There is a lot of variability between the dosage and duration of exercise in this type of patient, so it is necessary to continue investigating.
