Currently, young people have access to Information and Communication Technologies
at very early ages. Furthermore, this population is particularly vulnerable to the dangers
that may be associated with these technologies, often unaware of the impact their online
behaviors can have. Among these dangers is grooming, a process in which an adult
seeks to manipulate a minor by gradually gaining their trust and then involving them in
sexual activities. In line with this, the objective of this study was to design a prevention
program against grooming. The program, called "Conexiones Seguras," consists of 10
sessions that address various skills that may be involved in these behaviors, such as
self-esteem, problem-solving tools, social skills, assertiveness, trust, and communication
between parents and children. Additionally, this work includes information about the
grooming process. This program is aimed at both secondary school students in the
province of Alicante and their parents or guardians, with whom two sessions will be
conducted. Through this program, the goal is to raise awareness about this issue and
equip adolescents with skills and resources to ensure their safety on the internet.
