Homeless people form a vulnerable group separated from society. In many instances, their identities are dehumanized through multiple stereotypes and prejudices. They suffer more than anyone else from climatic phenomena, changes in government, and especially, loneliness. The work of nonprofit organizations is essential for the processes of social reintegration. Similarly, Public Administrations must work and create policies that promote this person's integration. However, this collective has been defined by themselves on different occasions as forgotten individuals. Among other reasons, there is the inability to establish censuses that facilitate administrative, medical, provisioning, and governmental assistance tasks. Additionally, the eagerness of some political and institutional representatives to criminalize poverty through ordinances and actions contrary to these individuals hinders social awareness of the collective.
