Introduction. Among the issues most affected by the global pandemic of COVID-19 is the physical andemotional well-being of citizens.Objective. To analyze how dietary habits and physical activity have changedsince the com- pulsory home confinement, and to determine whether they have been maintained afterwards,carrying out a study with students from 6 Andalusian public universities, during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic years.Method. A 30-item questionnaire was applied to a sample of 458 subjects, 73% female, 25%male and 2% non-binary with a mean age of 23 years.Results. Socially imposed isolation has favored in mostcases an awareness of the need for care and improvement of health, both at a general level (46%) and from thepoint of view of food (for example, 60% take fruit or vegetables between meals) and physical activity (52%) and as an added benefit is that these habits are maintained after confinement (67%). Conclusions. Healthy habits have improved since confinement, in aspects relat- ed to both food and physical activity, with the latter acquiring a highrelevance since the pandemic
