Introduction: Postural control is the ability of the body to maintain a correct alignment of the center of gravity on its axis, guaranteeing the execution of stability and postural orientation. With aging, changes in postural control appear that lead to imbalance and instability, with the consequent state of unwanted prolonged rest, the appearance of immobility and falls. All this affects the quality of life of the elderly, since the improper functioning of balance and postural control leads to deterioration in the performance of activities of daily living. Likewise, occupational therapy focuses its approach on the rehabilitation of the person's alterations, providing numerous benefits that favor the quality of life of the elderly and positively influence the intervention of postural control. Objectives: The general objectives of the project are in charge of maintaining ambulation in the community, maintaining and/or improving an adequate functional performance of the person, and reducing the risk of falls. Within these, the specific objectives pursued by the program are those aimed at increasing or maintaining the strength of the upper and lower limbs, favoring a natural symmetrical posture and improving the reaches that imply great balance reactions. Methodology: The designed project will last 9 months, taking place at the Neuroconect Rehabilitation clinic and has the participation of 36 adults over 65 years of age, who meet inclusion criteria. The intervention plan includes sessions oriented to gerontogymnastics, muscle strengthening, proprioception, and task-oriented activity. The initial and final evaluation of the participants will include standardized scales such as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA), the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), the Functional Independence Measure (FIM), the Tinetti scale, the Daniels scale, and the Visual Analog (EVA). In addition, in the re-evaluation of the program we attach two satisfaction questionnaires addressed to the participants and the occupational therapist.
