Two-Step Linear Least-Squares (TSLLS) is a method for calculating the five parameters of the equivalent electrical model of a single-diode photovoltaic cell or panel as a function of irradiance and temperature. The laboratory of the University of Jaen has performed a series of continuous measurements over a year with different types of weather conditions, creating a very extensive database. The purpose of this public database is to facilitate the validation of a modeling algorithm for photovoltaic panels under different operating conditions. It contains many elements with different fields such as voltage and current data pairs, temperature, irradiance, date of data acquisition.... This final degree project presents the design and implementation of a MATLAB program capable of reading a database provided by the University of Jaen, reading the corresponding data lines from the repository file. This program runs the TSLLS algorithm to model each of the supplied measurements and to save the calculated parameters in excel files. All this will be automated using MATLAB scripts, displaying the data obtained at each time instant and analyzing, displaying and interpreting the results. The main objective of the work is to validate the equations found in the literature that model the variation of the parameters as a function of irradiance and temperature.
