Abstract

La siguiente instalación materializa una investigación sobre la relación entre el recuerdo y las imágenes utilizando como herramientas aquellas utilizadas en la terapia EMDR. El tema a tratar dentro de la investigación es el trauma por abuso sexual, la relación que como cuerpos establecemos con el recuerdo traumático y la relación del trauma con la imagen. También se indaga sobre el concepto de la casa, de la intimidad y del hogar, así como de la familia y de la relación entre estos dos últimos conceptos. Estas ideas se materializan en una pieza de vídeo-arte que posteriormente se muestra en una instalación llevada a cabo en la casa de un amigo

The following installation materializes an investigation on the relationship between memory and images using as tools those used in EMDR therapy. The theme of the research is the trauma of sexual abuse, the relationship that as bodies we establish with the traumatic memory and the relationship of the trauma with the image. It also explores the concept of the house, intimacy and home, as well as the family and the relationship between these last two concepts. These ideas materialize in a video-art piece that is later shown in an installation at a friend's house
