Ø OBJECTIVE: Review scientific literature on the possible relationship between phytocannabinoids and ADHD. Ø METHOD: This work is an exploratory literature review. The articles reviewed were obtained from the consultation of health sciences bibliographic databases such as Embase, MEDLINE (via PubMed) or The Cochrane Library. Health science (MeSH) descriptors were used to perform the search equation. Ø RESULTS: Ninety-four references were retrieved. After applying the exclusion criteria, 3 articles remained for study and analysis. Ø CONCLUSION: A positive trend in the management of ADHD with phytocannabinoids is observed. However, the statistical significance necessary to draw firm conclusions about this possible relationship is not achieved and it is suggested to continue research on the subject but with more rigorous trials.
