Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a clinical problem mostly present in women. Conditions related to CPP in men include chronic pain syndrome or chronic prostatitis (CP), among others. CP affects men under 50 years of age with a prevalence of 2% to 16%, with a greater probability of cardiovascular, neurological and sinusitis diseases. CPP is a chronic pain that persists, affecting a man's sexuality and quality of life. Objetive: Know the possible beneficial effects of Trancraneal Neuromodulation in patients with CPP valued according to the scales EVA, PISQ-12, EuroQol-5D, NIH-CPSI, PPBC, PGI-S, BPIC-SS. Material and methods: 49-year-old patient with CPP caused by CP. He received treatment with direct Transcraneal Neuromodulation. An area of 35cm and intensity 2 mA and 20 minutes of treatment was applied. Standby time of 10 seconds and a surface area of 57 mA / cm2. The duration of the treatment is 15 sessions. An assessment was carried out with scales (EVA, PISQ-12, EuroQol-5D, NIH-CPSI, PPBC, PGI-S, BPIC-SS) before treatment. Once the treatment was finished, a reevaluation was carried out to see the effectiveness of the treatment. Results: Direct Transcraneal Neuromodulation has not caused symptomatic improvements in the patient. It seems that it will be a great help for the physiotherapist due to its higher galvanic currents, but we must also take into account the importance of sensitization at a central level, the most psychological part in chronic pain treatments since they are of great importance in these cases for sometimes, not letting us advance. Conclusion: Treatment with direct Transcraneal Neuromodulation, in a clinical case with a patient with PC, has not proven to be effective as the sole treatment in chronic patients.
