CF Intercity, un ascenso histórico en fútbol y Bolsa nacional

Abstract

El CF Intercity nació en 2017 de la mano de dos empresarios alicantinos. Tras comprar el antiguo GCD Sant Joan, el club se refundó con la nueva identidad. Salvador Martí, la cabeza del proyecto, desde el primer momento, le puso como objetivo principal que el club pudiera salir a cotizar en Bolsa nacional. Debido al marco jurídico español, la salida al mercado no se produjo hasta finales de 2021. Durante los 4 primeros años de proyecto, el club creció a gran escala y realizó operaciones que aumentaron su valor y que demostraron su compromiso con la ciudad de Alicante: colaboración con el CFI Alicante, HLA Lucentum… El 2021 fue el año clave en el proyecto. Ya no solo fue por la salida a Bolsa, sino que también llegaron nuevos inversores. Uno de ellos, el grupo inversor Global Tech Opportunities 10. Y, el más importante y reconocido, Juanfran Torres, ex jugador de fútbol profesional, y que se encargará de llevar también la parcela deportiva del club desde la próxima temporada.

CF Intercity was founded in 2017 by two entrepreuners from Alicante. After buying former spanish side called GCD Sant Joan, the club was refounded with a new identity. Salvador Martí, the head of the project from the beginning, set as the main goal to be listed on the national stock exchange. Due to the spanish legal framework, the market launch does not take place until the end of 2021. During the first 4 years of the Project, the club grows on a grand scale and carries out operations that increase its value, showing up the commitment to the city of Alicante: colaboration with CFI Alicante, HLA Lucentum… 2021 was the key year of the project. It wasn’t only because of being listed on the stock exchange, but also because of the arrival of new investors. One of them, the investment group Global Tech Opportunities 10. And, the most important and recognised, Juanfran Torres, a former profesional football player who will also be in charge of the sports side of the club from next season.
