Mujer, cine y...¡Acción! La mujer como directora de cine en Alicante

Abstract

La sociedad sigue luchando contra el machismo en el que vivimos y todavía hay ciertos trabajos o puestos de responsabilidad que son considerados para hombres en los que las mujeres tienen una presencia muy baja. Este es el caso de muchos oficios, uno de ellos es la industria cinematográfica. Según un estudio realizado por la Asociación de Mujeres Cineastas y de Medios Audiovisuales (CIMA), el porcentaje de mujeres que son directoras de cine es un 20% frente a un 80% de hombres. Estos datos se traslada también a la provincia de Alicante en la que la presencia de la mujer en la industria del cine sigue siendo muy baja. Las directoras de cine alicantinas siguen sufriendo discriminaciones en sus trabajos y les hacen demostrar todo el tiempo sus capacidades. Se están implementando medidas de discriminación positiva para aumentar la presencia femenina en los puestos de relevancia del mundo del cine. A pesar de esto, los porcentajes todavía están muy desiguales tanto la provincia de Alicante como en el resto de lugares.
