This work is based on the practical study of the labor problems suffered by people who want to apply for a permit for infant care or women in situation of risk in breastfeeding who need to ask for a permi; all of it, throughout the national territory. Miguel Hernández University´s Judicial Clinic, received the proposal of the Spanish Federation of Associations for Breastfeeding to carry out this Project. The Spanish Federated Associations, grouped by proximity of geographical áreas, have virtually gathered to carry out this work weekly. The name of the seminars has been “Legal Initiatives and Breastfeeding" and they have compilated and answered doubts and concerns of the assistants, who were representatives of their associations and gave voice to their represented. The result has been the verification of the need for training and information to enforce the existing rights. Furthermore, many shortcomings and legal loopholes have been revealed so that the rights to take care of the infant can be really effective.
