In an era where entertainment is increasingly turning to the internet, the press and the world of journalism are constantly evolving towards a more interactive and vertical communication model, in which the consumer is no longer just a mere spectator. Platforms such as Netflix or Twitch are gaining ground on television, which sees its hegemony in danger. Therefore, it is not surprising that YouTube, the second most visited page on the web, according to a report by Alexa (2018), plays an important role when it comes to sharing and communicating information. Traditional media have been forced to give way to new technologies, both to platforms and to social networks, giving a change in the communication paradigm. With this said, this Final Degree Project aims to discover how a traditional medium like Vogue, in its national edition, carries out its communication strategy on this platform. Therefore, you want to know if the contents of your YouTube channel are suitable for that medium and find out if they follow the trends of journalism on the Internet, as well as the differences with the written version, if any. In order to discover these characteristics, a quantitative analysis method of the channel's content has been carried out for a month, in which the information has been collected in an excel table, in order to compare all the data. After having carried out the process, the results have shown that in general terms Vogue Spain follows the trends of journalism on YouTube, despite the fact that there are some parameters to improve the medium, especially those that are related to the interaction with its audience.
