Cocaine has acquired flagrant social acceptance and its use has exploded in recent years. So much so, that according to the latest report carried out by the UNODC between 2010 and 2019, the number of users who consume drugs increased by 22%, specifically cocaine is established as one of the most consumed illegal narcotics with a total of 20 million persons. In addition, this drug often leads to crime. Spain is one of the countries belonging to the European Union in the use of this drug, data from the latest survey on alcohol, drugs and other addictions in Spain show that the trend in consumption is upward, and that 2.5% of the population has consumed in the last 12 months. Cocaine generates an economic revenue without equal to drug trafficking, the latest Statistical Yearbook of the Ministry of the Interior, breaks down a total of 24,171 arrests for drug trafficking, 12% more than the previous year, and a total seizure of 37,867,850 grams of cocaine. Reintegration is possible, but the prison system does not encourage change, drugs can be easily obtained within prison. On the other hand, the Addictive Behavior Unit (UCA) does not have sufficient resources to be able to properly serve all the people who need it. An unsustainable situation, and a growing consumption of which there is no awareness and that begins at a very early age, mainly young people being the most focused on the consumption of different drugs. Drug addiction is a serious problem in our country and giving a voice to those people who were hooked and who, luckily, managed to get out of that sad life, can help young people to become aware before entering that world that leads to a long maze. Well, not everyone who enters, manages to find the exit.
