Bulimia, like all the other eating disorders, affects the performance of the users and requires a multidiscipline intervention. The principal mission of this bibliographic review is to know the role of occupational therapy in bulimia. In order to do this, we will research the current state of occupational therapy in eating disorders and also know what frames of reference and evaluations are used to work with this group, and what activities are carried out. A search was made in the databases Pubmed, Scopus y Psyinfo. Also the magazines: The British Journal of Occupational Therapy and The American Journal of Occupational Therapy were reviewed. The results show that there are only four occupational therapists working in the spanish eating disorder units (2012). The models that are used are de Model of the Human Occupation and the Cognitive-Behavioural Model. The standardized assessments that are used are the Eating and Meal Preparation Skills Assessment (EMPSA) , the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ), the Inventory for Eating Disorders (EDI2) and the Body Image Anxiety Scale (BIAS), As well as instruments for evaluating the MOHO (MOHOST, OCAIRS, OSA, OPHI II, list of roles and list of interests) and the Canadian Model (COMP). The activities that are carried out are buying food, preparing meals and going out to eat in bars. To conclude, we could say occupational therapists need to reach a greater visibility in this field, given that people with bulimia suffer an occupational decline and the therapists are the suitable professional to work on deficiencies that cause such decline
