Currently, the prevalence of behavioral disorders in people with intellectual disabilities is 45'3%,
which is why disruptive behaviors are considered as one of the main variables to take into account to
make an intervention with a user with conduct disorder associated with a intellectual disability. The
main objectives of this treatment are to achieve maximum independence in carrying out the activities
of daily living such as grooming, personal higiene and shaving, involving into the process to the
maternal figure and trying to reduce the aversive behaviors that they happen when these activities
carries in the family environment. The sessions will be held for three months, with the help of
different resources to achieve the objectives, and the intervention will be carried out in the family
home in order to enhance this independence in the environment where conflicts happens. As results of
the intervention, an increase in independence is obtained in the activities of daily living, but at the
same time an increase in disruptive behaviors in the home, caused by factors totally unrelated to the
intervention, which leads to the conclusion of the importance of enhancing occupations in the usual
environment, education and family inclusion in the process, and the importance of Occupational
