The journalistic profession is going through a crisis, and with it, quality journalism has not benefited. Doing a good journalistic job requires some financial capacity and some investment of time, and many media outlets are unwilling to make these investments. There are several hypotheses that explain why it is difficult to find quality journalism. The first of these would be that the media do not bet on doing a good journalistic job, since the benefit they obtain is little compared to other content, they argue that the digital transition is a difficult step to take and that they have not yet known how to adapt to this new reality. The second, that society is not willing to bet on quality journalistic work either. Information is a good, and as such, when acquired it must be remunerated, but very few people are willing to do so. The company has a very wide informative and entertainment offer that costs nothing to acquire. Finally, the relationships between legal professionals and journalists, and between the latter and politicians, are analyzed. It has always been said that journalists are the guarantors of democracy, and as such, they must be aware of any political and judicial irregularities. In addition, journalism has the power to create public opinion and social pressure towards the high elites, therefore, politicians and justice professionals do not bet on quality journalism either, where any irregularity on their part would entail a journalistic investigation that positions them in the spotlight
