Recent past and future prediccions allow us to consider tourism as a solid safe sector that supports the economic development of a city , community or contry. Tourism change due to the changes in the environment, resulting in the rise of a new kind of tourits, tourists 2.0. Tourists 2.0 is characterised by the amount of information one is able and aeger to manage in orde to take one´s own decisions. This information mainly taken from the Net. Among all tourist online channels available, the website has become the main search resource of information used by tourists. Tourist websites are nowadays a key tool in the development of the tourist sector, and the official ones are the principal tool for the dissemination and marketing of the tourist destination. This is why tourist destinations must have, from the point of view of the current website model, the model 2.0, an official website which meets certain quiality criteria in terms of desing, accesibility , website navigability and usability in order to achieve its main goal: to provide the browser whith a satisfatory experience which prompts him or her to select a tourist destination over that or its competitors. The present research work deals with the analysis worked deals with the analysis of the evolution of the official websites of the Spanish Mediterranean tourist destinations through a model of analysis worked out es profeso, based on a review of the existing literature on the mentioned criteria and od the analysis methodologies of digital resources of different websites, whose main goal is the spread of information and of tourist websites. The conclusion privide us with a report of the official tourist websites and of their evolution, as well as an index or parameters and indicators, with their respective premises, to considerer when tackling the creación and/or maintenance of tourist website with guarantieed success.
