Análisis de un portal web de noticias: Europa Directo

Abstract

El mundo en el que vivimos está en constante cambio, sobre todo en el sector de la información y la telecomunicación. Internet ha creado una revolución en la Era Digital que ha facilitado el intercambio de información entre los seres humanos a un ritmo nunca antes visto, abriendo las puertas a un nuevo tipo de negocio que ha arrebatado el trono a los medios tradicionales: los portales web de noticias. Atrás quedarán los periódicos y los informativos televisados, consumidos cada vez menos por un público que prefiere centrar su atención en un consumo mediático más sencillo a través de Internet. En este proyecto se expone un ejemplo de dicho modelo de negocio, el portal web de noticias europadirecto.com, en el que se demuestran los beneficios, dificultades y características de este tipo de empresa.

The world we live in is constantly changing, especially in the information and telecommunications sectors. The Internet has created a revolution in the Digital Age that has facilitated the exchange of information between human beings at a rate never seen before, opening the doors to a new type of business that has taken the throne from traditional media: news and media website pages. Gone will be the newspapers and televised news programs, consumed less and less by an audience that prefers to focus its attention on a simpler media consumption through the Internet. In this project, an example of such a business model is exposed, the news web portal europadirecto.com, in which the benefits, difficulties and characteristics of this type of business are demonstrated.
