Nowadays, society is very linked and influenced by sport. Proof of this are the means of communication and new digital platforms such as social networks, corporate website, etc. However, certain disciplines stand out above others and are more important when we are talking about a specific Autonomous Community, in other words, the number of people federated vary greatly depending on the sport.
One the one hand, the development of tasks in the regional federations of sport in the Valencian Community and their degree of involvement in activities to attract the attention of their audience or new targets, besides the use of new technologies for communication is part of the purpose of this research study.
It involves to analyse how the process of communication is developed within the federations, even though in some federations this communication is carry out by external agents or partners and not by qualified personal. In fact, most of the cases the communication does not have its specific communication department and it is combined with others tasks.
Therefore, the aim of this research is to find the reason why there is no media balance in all the regional sport federations in the Valencian Community and compare the similarities that exists between other federations, like the national federations.
Throughout this research will be studied, through two research methods, the survey and the analysis of websites, the degree of communication management in fifty-eight federations in the Valencian Community. Moreover, it is intended to know what kinds of tools are used to improve the communication with their audience.
This research has almost no previous resources so it allows total freedom to create new researches about this subject
